These Terms of Service apply to the use of the Integrative Psychotherapy Centre website and the booking of services through it.
1. Services
Integrative Psychotherapy Centre provides evidence-based psychological support, including online psychotherapy.
The service is not a medical or diagnostic service and does not replace care from a GP or other healthcare provider.
Information provided on this website is for general information only and should not be considered individual medical or psychological advice.
2. Appointments
Therapy sessions are conducted online and normally last 50 minutes.
Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation. Clients are responsible for providing accurate information when making a booking and for attending at the agreed time.
The therapeutic relationship is additionally governed by the Therapy Agreement and Consent provided during client onboarding.
3. Fees and Payment
The applicable fee will be displayed or communicated before an appointment is booked.
Where payment is taken online, payment must be completed as part of the booking process.
4. Cancellations
At least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged the full session fee.
5. Online Sessions
Clients are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and, wherever reasonably possible, a private environment in which to attend their session.
Integrative Psychotherapy Centre cannot guarantee the uninterrupted operation of third-party internet, video-conferencing or other technical services.
6. Communication
Communication outside therapy sessions is intended for scheduling and administrative matters.
Therapeutic support is provided during scheduled sessions and should not be sought through email, website forms or other administrative communication channels.
7. Emergencies
Integrative Psychotherapy Centre is not an emergency or crisis service.
The website, email and booking system should not be used to request emergency assistance. Where there is an immediate risk to life or safety, appropriate emergency services should be contacted.
8. Privacy and Confidentiality
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Integrative Psychotherapy Centre Privacy Notice and applicable UK data protection legislation.
Information shared during therapy is treated as confidential, subject to limited circumstances including serious risk of harm, safeguarding concerns or where disclosure is required by law.
9. Suitability of Services
Submitting an enquiry or booking an appointment does not guarantee that psychotherapy through Integrative Psychotherapy Centre will be suitable for your needs.
Where your needs fall outside the scope of the service, you may be advised to seek support from another appropriate healthcare professional or service.
10. Website and Liability
Reasonable care is taken to ensure information on this website is accurate and that services are provided professionally.
No particular therapeutic outcome can be guaranteed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or affects your statutory rights.

Therapy records are retained for 7 years after your last session, while financial records are retained for 6 years.
